Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Zero Delta covering your use of the Haunted: Ghost Camera iOS application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you accept these Terms.

1. Entertainment only

Haunted creates fictional entertainment. Apparitions, figures, distortions, written replies, and voice clips are AI-generated effects. The App does not detect, photograph, measure, or prove paranormal activity, and no output should be treated as evidence or relied on for any decision.

2. Age and content modes

• Haunted is not directed to children under 13.
• Dread mode is for people 17 or older. Playful mode stays available if you leave Dread sealed.
• The App Store age rating is set in App Store Connect and may differ from “17+.”

3. AI processing by xAI Grok through OpenRouter

When you Hunt, your photo is processed by xAI Grok through OpenRouter solely to add a fictional apparition. When you use Listen, the words from your question are processed by xAI Grok through OpenRouter solely to create a short fictional reply and voice clip.

We do not keep photos, recordings, questions, or replies on our servers after the request finishes. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and questions you submit. You grant us a limited license to transmit and process that content only as needed to provide the effect you request. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, depicts another person without permission, or that you do not have the right to use.

5. Apple App Store purchases

Haunted offers monthly and yearly subscriptions and a pack of five hauntings through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings. Prices and renewal periods appear before purchase. Purchases are never unlimited: fair use and reasonable generation limits apply. Restore purchases in Settings or by tapping Restore on the paywall. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.

6. Fair use of effects

Effect generation uses paid computing resources. We may apply reasonable rate limits, queueing, or per-period caps to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse. Automated, bulk, resale, or commercial-scale generation is not permitted.

7. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with the App; attempt to bypass usage limits; or use Haunted to harass, deceive, or defame anyone. If you share generated content, do not present it as genuine paranormal evidence.

8. Deleting your data

You can delete your data from Settings → Delete my data inside the App, or by emailing privacy@zerodelta.app. Deletion removes the server account and in-app data as described in the Privacy Policy. Copies saved to your Camera Roll remain in Apple Photos, and purchase records remain with Apple.

9. Availability and changes

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the App. We may update these Terms and will post a new date; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
